Transforming healthcare and human habits with a simple click

 

As part of the LEO Innovation Lab’s cutting edge approach to skin care, CIID helped design a product-service to improve treatment management and control for people living with a skin condition. CIID’s service designers and researchers designed and implemented a minimum viable pilot of the service, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to both test and evolve the initial concept. The positive results of the study allowed Klikkit to move into the next phase of development and secure funding for a full pilot. We identified the critical features that would enable a robust and valuable experience for users, to prioritise development focus.

We worked directly with members of the LEO Innovation Lab, creating a working team that collaborated closely through every stage of the project: designing the study, conducting the fieldwork, analysing results, and running the service.

This engagement builds on a long-standing relationship between CIID and LEO Pharma. Through workshops and research projects we’ve worked together to build capabilities for patient-centered innovation. With each engagement, we aim to raise the understanding of what it’s like to live with a skin condition and to identify opportunities to improve the everyday experience.
